How MarketVista AI collects, uses, shares, secures, retains, and deletes personal information.
Effective date: July 28, 2026 Last updated: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MarketVista AI LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“MarketVista,” “MV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use marketvistaai.com and related applications, software, AI tools, dashboards, alerts, integrations, support channels, and services that link to this policy (collectively, the “Services”).
This policy should be read with our Terms of Service. It does not apply to third-party websites, brokers, exchanges, data providers, AI providers, payment processors, or messaging services that publish their own privacy policies.
1. Who we are and scope
MarketVista operates a financial-technology and market-intelligence platform. MarketVista AI LLC is the entity responsible for the personal information described in this policy unless another notice says otherwise.
MarketVista AI LLC is independently owned. No separate company is treated as a MarketVista affiliate merely because it has a business or personal relationship with MarketVista or its owner. Personal information is not shared with an unrelated business unless this policy, a user instruction, a contract, or law authorizes the sharing.
2. Personal information we collect
The categories below describe information we may collect depending on which Services you use.
A. Account and profile information
- name, username, email address, telephone number, company, role, and country;
- account preferences, plan, avatar, profile details, watchlists, saved views, and accessibility or theme settings;
- age or eligibility confirmations; and
- support, partnership, onboarding, and customer-service details.
B. Authentication and security information
- password hashes and passwordless-authentication references;
- multi-factor authentication enrollment and verification status;
- device identifiers, session identifiers, login timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and operating-system information;
- trusted-device, recovery, failed-login, anti-bot, fraud, and abuse-prevention signals; and
- audit logs, role assignments, access-control events, API-token metadata, and security alerts.
MarketVista uses operational MFA for user and administrator accounts. Authentication secrets and recovery factors should be handled only through designated secure flows.
C. Market, portfolio, trading, and workflow information
- symbols, watchlists, alerts, scans, filters, chart settings, research notes, journal entries, model preferences, risk settings, and saved strategies;
- paper orders, simulated fills, positions, balances, performance records, and paper-trading ledger activity;
- broker or financial-account identifiers, authorized scopes, account metadata, balances, positions, orders, transactions, and related trading data when you choose to connect an eligible account; and
- instructions or settings submitted to assisted or automated workflows.
MarketVista does not need your brokerage password when a provider offers OAuth or another provider-hosted authorization flow. Access tokens and connection metadata are used only for the permissions you authorize and are subject to the connected provider’s controls.
D. AI and research interactions
- prompts, questions, uploaded or pasted content, symbols, selected market context, conversation history, model settings, feedback, and generated responses;
- automated classifications, rankings, summaries, forecasts, risk flags, and system-quality metadata; and
- technical logs used to evaluate reliability, abuse, latency, and feature performance.
Do not submit broker passwords, private keys, full card numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, or confidential third-party information to an AI prompt unless a feature expressly requests the information through a secure flow.
E. Billing and transaction information
If paid billing is enabled, MarketVista and its payment processor may collect billing name, billing address, plan, invoice history, transaction status, payment-method type, last four digits or tokenized payment reference, tax information, discounts, and charge or refund records. MarketVista does not intend to store full payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own application servers.
F. Communications
We collect emails, support tickets, contact-form submissions, chat messages, optional text-message preferences, Telegram or similar alert preferences, call or meeting details, survey responses, and records of consent or opt-out choices.
G. Device, usage, and cookie information
We may collect IP address, browser, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, feature interactions, timestamps, language, approximate region, crash reports, performance information, cookie identifiers, and similar technical data.
H. Information from third parties
We may receive information from providers you connect or use, including brokers, market-data and news providers, charting services, identity and security services, payment processors, messaging platforms, AI service providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, and business partners. We process that information according to the permissions, contracts, and purposes applicable to the integration.
3. How we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts;
- provide live and delayed market information, charts, alerts, watchlists, paper trading, analytics, AI-assisted research, and requested integrations;
- process authorized broker data or instructions and display connected-account information;
- personalize settings and preserve user workflows;
- provide support, respond to requests, and communicate about accounts, security, billing, outages, updates, and legal matters;
- process subscriptions, invoices, taxes, refunds, and payment status;
- detect fraud, bot activity, account takeover, unauthorized access, market abuse, data misuse, and violations of our Terms;
- monitor reliability, latency, provider health, model quality, and product performance;
- debug, maintain, improve, and develop the Services;
- comply with law, contracts, sanctions, lawful process, and partner requirements;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- obtain consent for another disclosed purpose.
Where applicable, our legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital or legal interests, and consent.
4. AI processing and model providers
MarketVista may transmit a prompt and the minimum contextual information needed to configured AI model or API providers to generate a requested response. Depending on the feature, this may include symbols, market context, user instructions, conversation text, and uploaded content.
MarketVista does not intentionally use broker credentials, authentication secrets, private keys, or full payment-card details to train AI models. Users should not include such information in prompts. A third-party AI provider’s retention and model-training practices are governed by its contract, configuration, and privacy terms. MarketVista seeks to use business/API configurations and data-minimization controls appropriate to the feature, but users should assume that content sent to an external model is processed outside MarketVista’s infrastructure.
We may use automated systems to generate research, classifications, forecasts, risk indicators, or workflow suggestions. MarketVista does not use these outputs to make final legal, lending, employment, housing, insurance, health, or similarly consequential decisions about users. Trading decisions remain with the user and, where applicable, the user’s broker.
5. When we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this policy:
A. Service providers and subprocessors
Vendors that provide hosting, infrastructure, security, authentication, AI processing, market data, news, charting, analytics, communications, customer support, payment processing, logging, storage, and professional services. They are permitted to process information only for authorized services, subject to applicable contracts and law.
Known currently relevant providers or channels include:
- Namecheap — website hosting, domain, and related infrastructure as configured by MarketVista;
- TradingView — charting functionality or user-configured chart/webhook workflows where enabled; and
- Telegram — optional alert or communication delivery where a user or MarketVista channel enables it.
The specific market-data, news, AI, payment, email, SMS, analytics, and other providers may change as MarketVista develops. MarketVista maintains an internal vendor inventory and will update this policy or provide additional notice when a change materially affects personal-information processing.
B. Connected brokers and financial providers
When you request or authorize an integration, we may exchange account identifiers, authorization scopes, account data, order instructions, and technical metadata with the broker or provider. The provider independently controls its own records and processing.
C. Business and professional recipients
We may disclose information to accountants, auditors, lawyers, insurers, consultants, financing sources, and other professional advisers under confidentiality or legal obligations.
D. Legal, safety, and compliance recipients
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, subpoena, court order, regulatory inquiry, sanctions, or lawful process; protect users, MarketVista, partners, or the public; investigate fraud, security incidents, market abuse, or Terms violations; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
E. Corporate transactions
Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.
F. With your direction or consent
We disclose information when you direct us, request a feature that requires sharing, or provide consent.
6. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
As of the effective date, MarketVista does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not share personal information for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising. MarketVista does not use broker-connected data or AI prompt content to target third-party advertising.
If these practices change, MarketVista will update this policy and provide legally required notice and opt-out mechanisms before the changed processing begins.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
MarketVista may use:
- strictly necessary cookies for login, session management, security, load balancing, and fraud prevention;
- preference cookies for theme, language, display, and workspace choices; and
- measurement cookies or logs to understand reliability, usage, and performance where enabled.
You can control cookies through browser settings and any consent controls made available by MarketVista. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent login or other features. MarketVista does not currently rely on advertising cookies for third-party behavioral advertising.
8. Security safeguards
MarketVista uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Services and information, including, where applicable:
- HTTPS/TLS for data in transit;
- operational multi-factor authentication for users and administrators;
- password hashing and passwordless or recovery controls;
- role-based access controls and least-privilege administration;
- secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite session-cookie settings where applicable;
- separation and restricted handling of secrets, API keys, and tokens;
- security logs, device/session controls, anti-bot measures, monitoring, and incident escalation;
- backups, deployment validation, and service-health checks; and
- vendor and integration review appropriate to risk.
No security system is perfect. MarketVista cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, lost, altered, or disclosed without authorization. You are responsible for securing your devices, email account, MFA factors, and connected accounts and for notifying us promptly of suspected compromise.
9. Data minimization and purpose limitation
MarketVista seeks to collect information that is adequate, relevant, and reasonably necessary for disclosed purposes. We do not intentionally use personal information for a materially incompatible purpose without notice and, where required, consent.
Connected-account data is limited to authorized scopes and intended platform functions. MarketVista may restrict retention, caching, display, or export based on provider contracts, user settings, security needs, and law.
10. Retention and deletion
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Services, maintain security and audit trails, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with provider contracts, meet tax or accounting duties, and satisfy applicable law.
Retention depends on the information and context. Typical considerations include:
- account and profile information is generally retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period after closure;
- authentication, device, and security logs may be retained longer where needed to investigate abuse, fraud, or incidents;
- billing and tax records may be retained for legally required accounting periods;
- support and legal correspondence may be retained while a matter remains open and for a reasonable defense period;
- paper-trading, broker-connection, order, and audit records may be retained according to user instructions, provider obligations, security needs, and applicable recordkeeping requirements; and
- AI prompts and outputs may remain in conversation history, logs, backups, or provider systems for the period required to deliver, secure, evaluate, or support the feature.
When retention is no longer justified, MarketVista deletes, anonymizes, aggregates, or makes the information inaccessible using reasonable methods. Deletion requests may not remove information that we must retain for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, financial records, backup integrity, or the rights of others.
11. Backups
Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted or access-restricted backups until the applicable backup cycle expires. Backup data is not ordinarily restored for routine access requests and, if restored for disaster recovery, remains subject to the applicable deletion rules.
12. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
- know or confirm whether we process your personal information;
- access categories or copies of personal information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete information, subject to exceptions;
- obtain portable information in a usable format;
- opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
- restrict or object to certain processing; and
- appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.
To submit a request, email admin@marketvistaai.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Include your account email, the right you want to exercise, and enough detail for us to understand the request. Do not send passwords, MFA codes, full government IDs, or full payment-card details by email.
We may verify identity by asking you to authenticate, confirm control of the account email, provide a signed declaration, or use another proportionate method. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a right.
If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing admin@marketvistaai.com with the subject “Privacy Appeal” and explaining the basis for the appeal.
13. California and other U.S. state notices
Where applicable state law grants additional rights, MarketVista will honor those rights. The categories described in Section 2 correspond generally to identifiers; customer records; commercial, financial, and internet activity; geolocation approximations; professional information; inferences; communications; and sensitive authentication or financial-account information.
MarketVista does not sell personal information or share it for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising as described in Section 6. Users may submit access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, and appeal requests through the process in Section 12 where applicable.
The Florida Digital Bill of Rights and similar state laws apply only when statutory thresholds and other conditions are met. This policy is intended to provide transparent practices without representing that every statute applies to MarketVista or every user.
14. EEA, United Kingdom, and international users
If the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, MarketVista processes personal information under the legal bases described in Section 3. You may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and complaint to a supervisory authority.
MarketVista is based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, MarketVista uses appropriate contractual or legal transfer mechanisms.
15. Children
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. MarketVista does not knowingly collect personal information from a child for a trading account. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact admin@marketvistaai.com so we can evaluate and take appropriate action.
16. Communications choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. You may adjust in-platform alert settings where available. Service, security, billing, legal, and account messages are not marketing and may continue while necessary.
If text messaging is enabled and you opt in, you may withdraw consent using the instructions in the message, such as STOP, where supported. Message and data rates may apply.
17. Third-party privacy practices
Third-party services control their own collection and use of information. This includes brokers, exchanges, data sources, chart providers, AI providers, payment processors, Telegram, email or SMS providers, embedded media, and websites reached through links. Review their privacy policies before connecting or submitting information.
18. Data breaches and incident notification
MarketVista maintains an incident-response process for assessing, containing, investigating, remediating, and documenting suspected security incidents. If an incident involving personal information creates a legally reportable risk, MarketVista will notify affected individuals, partners, insurers, and authorities in the manner and timeframe required by applicable law. We may delay or limit notice if law enforcement or another lawful authority directs us to do so.
19. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Services, vendors, law, or data practices change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through the Services, email, or another appropriate channel. We will seek consent before materially different processing where required by law.
